Glee Casting Call - WVNSTV.com

FOX 59, WCIR, Theatre West Virginia and Tamarack will be holding a local Glee casting call April 13th from 5pm to 7pm at the Hulett C. Smith Theater at Tamarack. Each entrant will get five minutes to sing one of the 12 approved songs listed below and tell us “Why I Want to be on Glee.” The taped auditions will be reviewed by a panel of judges and one winner will be selected. The winning entry will be given a gold star pass and have their audition seen by a Glee casting producer! All entrants must be between the ages of 16 and 26 as of April 19, 2010. You must be able to show a valid ID and contestants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. In addition to the audition opportunity, we will be celebrating the return of GLEE with giveaways and prizes for everyone in attendance. This event is open to the public. 2. Selection of Winners: Entries will be judged by a panel of judges chosen by FOX 59. Winner must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Public Release and any other document that FOX 59 may require. Failure to execute any required documentation shall result in immediate forfeiture of the prize and the prize will transfer to the runner-up. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

4. Eligibility: Entrants must be between 16-26 years old as of April 19, 2010. This contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees of FOX 59 and its respective affiliates, their respective immediate family members, and personnel of other media stations whose broadcast signals are received in the designated market are not eligible to enter or win. You must be a legal resident of the United States, and 18 years or older to participate.

General Conditions: Contest entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of FOX 59, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this contest. This contest is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Prizes will be awarded and winners will be notified at the end of the contest. The inability to notify or contact a winner, the non responsiveness of a winner, or the winner’s failure to accept the prize may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner, assuming FOX 59 has, in its sole discretion, sufficient time to select an alternate winner. Winners will be required to pick up prizes at the FOX 59 office, located in Ghent, WV. By entering, each entrant concedes to and grants FOX 59 the right to use, publish or broadcast, without additional compensation, the entrant’s voice, name and likeness online, in print, via broadcast and in any other media in connection with the contest. FOX 59 makes no warranty, representation, or agreement that any videotape, audiotape, or likeness of a winner will be broadcast or other wise used in any manner. By entering, participants, on their own behalf and on behalf of their family members, dependents, friends, relatives, heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, release and hold harmless FOX 59, FOX Broadcasting Company, News America, Inc., FOX Interactive Media, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and the officers, directors, employees, licensees and assignees of each its affiliates, directors, officers, stockholders, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or any prize won.

Disqualifications: We reserve the right to disqualify and/or exclude, in our sole and absolute discretion, any individual from the performance for any reason or for no reason at all, including without limitation, violation of any portion of these rules, or tampering with the entry process or the audition process. We also reserve the right to change the rules and procedures at any time. Any participant found guilty of tampering with the voting process is subject to legal action.
